. . . from the Imprints series of block prints. Although the imagery is familiar, the theme is romance. Lines from two dissimilar poems alternate throughtout the piece and form a new, combined rhythm.
Lines of poetry, in order of their appearance:
lily has a rose
The red rose whispers of passion,
(I have none)
And the white rose breathes of love;
"don't cry dear violet you may take mine" lily has a rose

And the white rose is a dove. and losing's less than winning(but love is more than love)
